One model of
junior quad that Suzuki does not share with Kawasaki is the tiny LT50.
This differs from the LT-A50 and KFX50 in both weight and size. The basic LT50 weighs only 48kg, as compared to the 71kg of the larger LT-A and KFX 50cc models. The smaller machine offers less ground clearance, 75mm. It does without the sophisticated independent suspension on the LT-A and KFX. Fuel capacity is down to 1.5-litres but so is the price! The bargain basic LT50 retails for just $2,499, by far the cheapest junior quad on the market. It also has the great lanyard safety cord system that is available on the larger 50cc machine. It does lack some of the more fancy features but misses out on none of the fun.
