Suzuki GS 500

The Suzuki GS500 returned to the Australian market in 2000 with a host of updates.

A more comfortable and spacious seat that makes it easier to carry a passenger in comfort will be welcome on the GS500 which as become well known as a great commuter or a reliable courier bike.

A centre stand makes life easy when it comes time to park up.

Motivation comes from a 487cc Parallel twin that is fed by BSR34 carburettors and a clean burn is ensured by the electronic ignition system.  Air cooling adds to the simplicity.

Better instrumentation also features on the new model.

A 20 litre fuel tank should ensure long distances can be covered before it is time to fill the GS500.
