Improvements to the MV Agusta F4 include the following.
Designed to guarantee maximum access to all mechanical components and to give rock solid torsional rigidity the MV F4 frame is characterised by a mixed mixed structure of chromium molybdenum steel tubes and swingarm support plates in aluminium or magnesium. Connected to these is the rear suspension’s rocker arm and the rear subframe which is made of aluminium tubes. Both the trestles for the frame and rear subframe are produced entirely by MV. The detail that most captures the imagination of the passionate is surely the sculpted single swingarm. The F4 S model is equipped with 49mm upside-down Showa forks. Titanium Nitrided Marzocchi forks are used on the 'SPR' and 'Ago' models, both these variants also score a Sachs competition grade shock absorber. All F4 models are equipped with an Ohlins steering damper. Braking is provided by exclusive 'Nissin F4' six-piston calipers clamping on 310mm disc rotors. The 'Ago' version scores 'Nissin Racing' calipers. All the F4 models utilise a four-piston caliper and 210mm disc rotor. |
