With the
popularity of the original Thunderbird showing no signs of slowing
down, Triumph also offer a slightly more sporting
version.Originally inspired by the famous X-75 Hurricane version of Triumph’s first three-cylinder model in the late sixties, the Thunderbird Sport marries the classic flat-track look with a more road-oriented focus. The monoshock chassis boasts sports suspension, fully adjustable for preload and both compression and rebound damping front and rear. The engine too, has been honed, to produce more power and torque across the rev range. The riding position has been altered to allow the rider to shift more weight over the front of the machine. The flat handlebars and re-positioned footrests offer a more sportier set-up. Braking performance has been enhanced too with twin discs up front matched to a single rear.
