The
Tiger's 955cc three-cylinder engine provides
104bhp and a peak torque figure of 97Nm (72ft lbs) at 6200rpm.
It's combination
of adjustable, long-travel suspension and powerful twin front discs
brakes, and single rear, give it an agility out of all proportion to its
size and ensure it can soak up the worst the poorest roads can offer.
The Tiger is fully equipped for covering huge distances in comfort. The fuel tank is a 24 litre item, a sturdy frame-mounted fairing keeps wind and weather away and powerful twin headlights swamp the road ahead in bright light. For 2003 the Tiger appears in new silver or orange livery. Triumph Tiger - 2003 - Specifications
