One very tasty item on this DR-Z400SM model though is the RM250 sourced upside-down Showa forks.

I have ridden a DR-Z with the RM front end and the difference on both the road and in the dirt is quite pronounced.  The RM forks are top notch items that offer excellent performance.

The swingarm on this model also looks slightly different to our DR-Z as it appears to be of a tapered design.

In keeping with the supermoto theme this model ships with a 3.5" wide front rim and 4.5" wide rear rim.

These rims are shod with 120/70R17 and 140/70R17 rubber respectively.

Helping to bring the 134kg machine to a halt is a large 310mm floating disc rotor at the front with a twin piston caliper and a 240mm disc at the rear.
