We are sad to report that young Matt Kuhne was injured at Qld Raceway earlier this week.

The teenager was practicing for an upcoming ride with a UK based Aprilia Supermoto team and was working back up to fitness after recovering from a previous knee injury.

Matt has broken three 'C' vertebrae in his neck which doctors plan to surgically fuse later this week.

Matt currently only has feeling from the middle of his chest up with limited use of his arms. He has no control of his hands, which are subject to spasms and are thus bandaged to prevent injury and restrict movement.

As Matt currently can't read books or magazines the best way to send messages his way is by get well cards or similar.  Cards may be sent to;
