--  AARK Racing and Carr Commit to WSS 2013 The 2012 Australian Supersport Championship winning Team Aark Racing is announcing its commitment to the 2013 World Supersport championships. The Aark Racing Team had a stellar 2012 season, winning the Australian Supersport championship. Team owner Andy Offer has set his sights on tackling the World scene in 2013 with the Triumph 675R under the Aark Racing banner. Andy says "It has always been a goal of mine to own and manage a team on the World scene. With the team’s achievements in 2012 at the Australian level, I believe it is time to take what we have learned to the next level”. Riding the Aark racing Triumph will be Mitchell Carr. After Mitchell winning his first Australian Supersport title, Mitchell is looking ahead and believes that the team has the package to be extremely competitive. "The team has prepared a great bike throughout the 2012 season, testing has been very positive and the bike is coming ahead in leaps and bounds. After winning the Australian Supersport Championship title this season, I am so grateful for Aark Racing to give me this great opportunity to contest the World Supersport Championship", says Mitchell. The Team has been developing a World Supersport Triumph 675R this current season, with the results exceeding the team’s expectations. The bike has adapted to the Pirelli Tyres and Motec electronics with ease. Our bikes contesting the World Supersport Championship will showcase race prepared engines and K-Tech suspension both developed using Australian expertise in Australia. “As many of the Australian riders venturing overseas this year will be riding for European teams, our team is a bit unique in that we will be a fully owned and managed Australian Team. I believe this will lift the profile of motorcycle racing in Australia” Andy says. We proved we have a winning formula and are excited to test our skills at the world level. We expect that we will once again be able to represent our loyal sponsors with pride and anticipate a great year for our new sponsors and any potential sponsors coming on board.
