-- BMW Motorrad Technician An exciting full time opportunity exists at the BMW Group for a Technical Specialist within the BMW Motorcycle (Motorrad) division. BMW have produced premium motorcycles for 90 years and lead the industry in cutting edge technologies. Reporting to the Motorrad Technical Manager, this role is suited to a dedicated individual with mechanical (motorcycle) engineering trade qualifications and proven post apprenticeship industry experience in a technical role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to :- • Providing technical solutions and support to the aftersales service segment of the Motorrad business and dealer network in Australia; • Working closely with the dealer network for the timely communication & resolution of technical, customer relations & warranty related issues; • Providing technical support at Motorrad events and in preparing/grounding Motorrad fleet motorcycles; (this may include travel interstate). • Managing priorities across the role’s technical support responsibilities which are both office and workshop based (approx 50:50 split). This is a 12-month fixed term contract role which provides a great opportunity for any individual looking to implement their technical experience and knowledge within a professional environment. The successful applicant will be able to work in a team environment that is often fast paced and challenging. The ability to liaise on a professional level with both internal and external stakeholders is an important part of this role. An interest in motorcycles and / or motorsports is essential and previous technical experience with BMW motorcycles an advantage.
