Ultra light and sleek, weighing only 600g, but with maximum performance the Contour is constructed in a five layer mould to follow the contour of the back. The use of ‘Hexprotect’ honeycomb polypropylene material means that the Contour transmits only 6KN of energy during testing for the new EN1621-2 back protector European standard – substantially less than the 18KN maximum permitted. Features include, the combination of ‘Comfortemp’ material (covering the spine area) with Phase Change Technology which N.A.S.A developed to actively balance out extreme temperatures. It works by extracting the heat from the rider’s body, storing it within the chemical and when the rider cools down then the heat is released back to the body. With a steel ceramic mesh cover to protect from abrasion and ‘Coolmax’ anti-bacterial fabric at the sides and belt to control odours and keep the wearer cool and comfortable. The quick release straps can be worn crossed for greater comfort. • Ricochet – Light and flexible, this CE approved unobtrusive back protector is aimed at sports riders and has superior shock absorbing characteristics that can withstand repeated impact. A torsion control system resists rear flexing, air venting allows for increased airflow and breathe ability, and includes ‘Coolmax’ anti-bacterial fabric at the sides and belt to control odours and keep the wearer cool and comfortable. The quick release straps can be worn crossed for greater comfort. There are seven sizes available from child to adult, weighing between 500 – 1180g. • Stowaway RSK– Designed in conjunction with British Super Bike Rizla Suzuki Team rider, Yukio Kagayama, the lightest back protector in the range weighing only 550g. Specifications include extra coverage over scapula, kidneys and liver, ‘Coolmax’ fabric backing with anti-bacterial finish to keep the rider cool and dissipate sweaty odours. A great feature of this back protector is that it rolls away for easy storage in its own sports bag. • Cross-Sport – The ultimate safety shirt with complete upper body protection, including back protector. Constructed in a unique modular concept; this is effectively seven garments in one. With maximum breath ability using tough stretch mesh which allows unrestricted movement, mesh bonded polyethylene foam in low impact regions and honeycomb polypropylene and K resin protectors in high impact areas. The Cross Sport is CE approved, comes in sizes XS – XXL and weighs 1100g.
