Won
Six Australian junior dirt track titles & 8 times 2nd and 3rd place
runner up along with thirteen junior state titles.

Turned Senior in July of
2000 and came 2nd on both 125 and 250cc bikes at the Victorian Titles.
Early in 2001 Chris won the Ivan Major International Long Track Masters
at Bankstown and was then given a GSX-R 600 road bike by Rod Gudgeon
(NorthVac) to help commence a conversion to racing on the tarmac.

Was nominated for 'Young
Achiever of the Year' in the Ford Festival of Sport. Started to
race on the tar and finished 3rd in the C & D class at Wakefield Park
aboard the 600. Then got thrown in the deep end during the support
races at the 2001 Phillip Island World SuperBike round where he finished
20th & 17th after qualifying 40th (both races were wet). Chris
then continued to compete in club days at Broadford and so far has
recorded a best qualifying position of 7th and best finish of 4th.
Chris then completed a couple of test sessions with Team Kawasaki at
Sydney's Oran Park and Brisbane's Queensland Raceway and received some
coaching from ex World SuperBike rider Rob Phillis.

His
next serious venture on the tar was in the 2001 New South Wales Titles
at Oran Park where he finished 16th overall and 3rd in 'C' grade.

Returned to the dirt in September 2001 for the Victorian Dirt Track
Titles where he won the 125 class and finished 3rd in the 250 class.
Then to the 3rd round of the NSW Titles for another 125 win and a 2nd
place on the 250.

In the
deep end on the tar again, this time in the MotoGP support races at
Phillip Island where he placed 23rd out of 50 starters.

Dirt
track again later in October at the Australian Senior Dirt Track
Championship (Broadford) and won both the 125 & 250 classes, (Career
highlight thus far).

Then to
Bathurst for the NSW Long Track Championships (Dirt) where Chris won the
125 class and missed the 250 final due to mechanical failure.

Came
third on a 600 behind two Superbikes in the
2001 Stars of Tomorrow in November

Future
goals - To do well in the SAASC and FX Championships during 2002 and
gain more experience before hopefully continuing on to MotoGP or World
SuperBike. Looking for a ride and/or a bike for 2002.
