Damian Cudlin will ride for Team Suzuki in the 2004 Australian Superbike Championship.

Cudlin will be teamed with 3 time Australian Superbike Champion, Shawn Giles on board the all conquering Phil Tainton Tuned GSX-R 1000s.

After securing the most hotly contested ride in Australian Motorcycle Racing, Cudlin said "I'm really pleased to have secured such a good ride and am really looking forward to the 2004 season."

"I want to thank Phil Tainton for giving me this opportunity, and Perry Morison for having faith in me. I really hope to repay them with some good results."

The 21 year old from Taree believes that riding for Team Suzuki in 2004 is exactly what he needs to get things back on track after 2 long seasons in Europe.

"I want to do the best I can for Suzuki this year, and help them record a 5th straight Aussie Title."

It marks another chapter in Damian's incredible comeback after a spinal injury in 2001 threatened the talented riders career.

"It's strange the way things happen, but I think all things happen for a reason. You've just got to play the hand that your dealt." Cudlin said.

"To be riding for the Championship winning team is a great feeling, I just can't wait to go racing."

The season kicks off at Eastern Creek on the 12-14th of March.
