Daniel McCoy, young cousin
of Garry McCoy, hits the road racing circuit for the first time in
2001. Daniel will race an Aprilia RS250 in both the Formula Xtreme
Aprilia Challenge and the Lazer Helmets Australian 250cc Production Championship.

New South Wales are backing the young ex motocross racer.
Young McCoy is a 2nd year apprentice
carpenter and started riding at the tender age of 4 aboard a Pee Wee
50. He went racing in 1991 at the age of 7 in junior MX
starting out in 50cc Auto and moving up to 60cc, 80cc and 125cc as the
years progressed.
Danny turned 16 last May (2000).
