Paolo Casoli

Paolo Casoli was Supersport World Champion in 1997 with a Ducati 748. A crash during a test session strongly conditioned his result in last season’s Supersport championship, in which the Italian rider finished in 14th position.

Casoli however managed to win all the rounds of the Italian Superbike Championship in which he took part with a Ducati Corse ‘laboratory’ 996, taking the title of 1999 Italian champion.

Paolo Casoli was born on 18 August 1965 at Castelnuovo ne’ Monti (Reggio Emilia). He is married to Catia and they have one child, Federico.
