Reece Bancell - Funeral Details

Further to the original funeral details we published below, the Bancell family would appreciate it if members of race teams wear their team shirts to the service.

The funeral for Reece Bancell will be held at the North Chapel of the Northern Suburbs Crematorium. The facility is located on Delhi Road, North Ryde. Proceedings will get underway from 12:45 on Friday, September 5th.

Reece's family is extremely keen for a 'Reece Bancell Memorial Trophy' to be awarded at the end of each race season. They wish to ensure that Reece is never forgotten. The family have suggested perhaps awarding this to the highest placed privateer in the Supersport Championship each year.

In lieu of flowers at the funeral, Reece’s family has requested that donations be made to your relevant state flag marshals association.
