Images from Steve's past four seasons. The first images show Steve aboard a 748 Ducati which he rode in the 2000 Australian Supersport Championship after wrapping
up the Shell Australian Superbike Championship in 1999. 2001 saw Steve head overseas with the DFX squad where he started the long road to helping Pirelli to develop tyres suitable for World Superbike competition. Steve continued in this role with DFX right through to the end of 2003. He has consistently proven to be at least 30 seconds faster than any of the Pirelli mounted competition over a race distance. With that fact in mind Steve is salivating at the prospect of being able to race on equal tyres with the rest of the World Superbike field in 2004 when all riders will be on Pirelli rubber. Steve will stay with the DFX squad and will race a 999 Ducati for the outfit in 2004. |
