What a great round

Marmont won the round after reed crashed spectaularly in the first corner.

Considering the poor blokes daughter died on thursday it was touching that he dedicated the win to her.

Just got home. What a great night - I think I'm hooked!

Reed's crash was horrible. He was very lucky not to be badly hurt, and Marmont was amazing and, naturally, very emotional. One of the first to him after the race was Reed, which was great to see.

He is a class act Jay Marmont & i feel very much for him. Got a young son myself & when Jay dedicated his win to his "baby girl" it got my emotions going...

All the best to Jay & his family - go get that #1 plate mate!

He is a close friend of a good friend of mine and I agree, it takes a whole lot of inner strength to do what Jay has done. Broader media coverage here:

Anyone know what happened to Dan Reardon in Parra?

Also, CycleNews site is reporting that Bubba won't make it to Brisneyland now.

Here's a snippet from their story.

Stewart, who pulled out of the final night of the Supercross of Paris in Bercy with suspected food poisoning, returned home after Paris and a medical evaluation by his doctors have found his "immune system to be dangerously compromised."
