Johnson and Rea were hilarious in the second qualifying session

Guy Martin has a teapot painted on his undertail.

I'm just home now after calling it quits once the big boys had their second race...

Absolutely awesome to watch the approach speed on turn 1.
I got there early (8.00am) and got prime position right on the fence at turn one....the best place to watch when they're all crossed up under brakes

Didn't catch you there today Marty, though I spent today under the sombrero to cover up the sunburn I got yesterday. Those superbike guys were awesome.

I can't believe Rea and Johnson got down to a 56.1 on street bikes. That is utterly insane.

I did enjoy the end-of-day wheelies and burnouts though Pitt did a nice rolling burnout down the main straight, and Lowry managed to light his rear wheel on fire doing a burnout in pit lane, followed by the trail of flaming rubber behind him (cue marshalls with fire extinguishers). That may have had something to do with the unburnt fuel and exhaust dumping onto the rear wheel after his muffler fell off...

Still, I hope someone got pics

What a huge bugger for Shannon though. There's always next year I guess

Thoroughly enjoyed the King's today, and a pity I didn't catch up with you guys. Bumped into a couple of other friends though.

I watched the first King's from just into turn one, and the fast guys looked like they were going to lose it nearly every time under brakes.

The second, I watched from about (there's that word again Marty) 2, which is a really great spot. Say Rae catch it a couple of times in T1 at the start, and the next lap there was a big 'fairing banging' incident between the front two, coming out of T1. I couldn't believe that neither of them came down.

The third I watched from the stand in a corporate box at T7, enjoying a cold ale. Bliss.

Tickets a bit exy though. When I told my mates, who had passes, how much the entry cost, they were a bit surprised.

I only managed to get up for a few hours on Saturday. Busy shopping on Perth's only half-day of trading, and in the backyard doing improvements on Sunday.

Amazing to watch the overseas guys go through T1 and the esses in one gear, and at a great pace. All the local guys short-shift into 4th through the esses but the imports would hold third right through.

Kimo, did you make it over for Kings?? That's dedication
