Your not making any sense. Your first post you imply the satellite bikes use an engine in such a low state of tune that they last for 1200km and therefore don't require any detuning to make them survive as a sealed engine. Therefore they must be a lower spec than the factory engines.

Then your last post you admit CE is saying they are slower since they have been sealed in order to make them last longer - which would contradict your first statement. CE's sealed engines are detuned and slower, just as Rossi's are.

Apparently Bradley Smith made a comment at the last round that the electronics on the Tech3 bikes are clearly very different to those on the Fiat bikes, he's a racer so knows what he is seeing and hearing but make up your own minds

Quite ironic in a thread started by BirdMan...I can't help but thinking pneumatic, you do go on

and then me making comment about someone going on

PS - Not that it means anything...but the original quote makes sense to me.

Then perhaps you can summarise what he's trying to saying in English for me, as I'm obviously too retarded to figure it out myself

Will be interesting to see how Ben goes in Valencia........wildcard entry, 5 engines at his disposal... he won't be lacking any horsepower!!! And will be good to see how Colin goes....he has one new engine left. Amazing what you get when your bosses want three yami's in the top five in points..........

Will there be excuses, explanations or just "I wasn't fast enough" if CE cannot stay with Rossi, Jorge and Spies? I'm very excited for this weekend, and in some ways it would be good if CE spanked Spies (would lend some extra cred to Birdman). OTOH, it would be good if Spies came storming out of the box and just took pole, telling where to put the table from the word go

BTW, my predictions for this weekend is Pedrosa as winner in front of Jorge with Rossi a distant third, Stoner 4th and Spies 5th.

Spies is on a 2010 bike and it's basically a test. If he bins the thing he will be beaten to within inches of his life by Yamaha and considering why he is there (just an extra test really) and the race that it is, (last round, so who cares?) I doubt he will do anything special on it, not like everyone is thinking anyway. And why would he? I think he'll do better next year than he will this weekend, he has NOTHING to prove this weekend at all. No excuses though, I think he will be fast in FP etc, but come qual and race day he will be where any other newbie to GP would be. I spose it depends also on how many engines etc other teams have and what they are trying achieve at this last round.

Besides, Yamaha are wanting CE to grab that top 5 spot so I doubt they would want or let Ben beat him anyway.

It's all speculation, even Birdman with his inside information can't possibly have a clue what will happen this weekend. I hope Spies is right up towards the front.

+1

He mastered that yam this year, from the box, made very few errors and i hold high hope for him to shake up the MotoGP paddock.

Meybe he has been fast tracked if he performs well for valentinos reitrement/defection in 2012 ?

Considering Tech (and I'd guess Fiat) would be out of engines bar the ones the riders use this weekend, Ben will have new ones, BUT from what I hear it's a shake down of the 2010 bike anyway. Ash is right, nobody knows what will happen til the flag drops. But Ben ain't stupid, and if he bins the test bike first time out, and mangles it, he ain't gonna be Mr Popular around the Yamaha garages any time soon. Besides, he has nothing to prove this weekend anyway, next year is when he has to stand up.

....yeah, Birdy, but a good result (top 5) won't hurt and I'm pretty sure he won't be just circulating

If he bins it in the second half of the race while in a podium position, I think he will be forgiven. If he bins it from tenth, probaly not.
