Australian GP 2003 - Aussie Support Events - Supersport

With Kevin Curtain also missing from the Supersport field through injury the event could be a hefty battle between his young Nikon Yamaha team-mate Brendan Clarke against Russell Holland on the new Kawasaki ZX-6RR. But the real threat here this weekend could possibly come from the Honda camp who in recent weeks have been showing great speed with their new CBR600RR machine.

Daniel Stauffer has not ridden a 600 Supersport machine for quite a while but he ventured out in this session on Curtain's #30 machine and quickly got down to a reasonable pace. Mark Aitchison, Glenn Allerton, Deon Coote and Shaun Geronomi were also circulating well.
