| A huge crash involving about ten bikes occurred on lap one which caused the red flag to come out. After a lengthy delay while medical crews attended some
seriously injured riders the race got under way again. Cudlin got a shocker of a start this time around while Tomassetti got a great run off the line. But Cudlin quickly dispensed with a number of riders and had the lead by the end of lap 1. Cudlin took an easy win by over 11 seconds. Tomassetti got second and Whalen third after they managed to hold out McKenzie who had to settle for fourth place. |
