Subway will be campaigning a Supermotard team in this years Australian Supermotard Championship.

Adam Altham will ride in the up to 450 class and Paul Caridi will ride the 250 class on a four stroke Yamaha. Final arrangements have yet to be secured but a third bike is available for a rider and more details will be announced soon.

Bridgestone will support the team along with Mobil oils and all team members will be attired in Subway uniform.

Adam Altham is a pro MX rider and has recently returned to Supermotard racing riding a wildcard at the Supermoto GP last year and front running many Supermotard events held in the past few weeks. Altham rode in the inaugural Victorian Supermotard Series two years ago and was able to mix it with the eventual winners to finish third overall in the point's chase.

"This is a great opportunity for me as I know I can run up front and be a genuine contender for the championship," commented an excited Altham.

He continued, "After last weekend at Oran Park I finished third against riders with much more horsepower and I think with our team setup we can not only put up a professional effort, we can win".

Team owner, Paul Caridi, is looking forward to the challenge, "I believe that this is a last chance for me to get in and mix it in an Australian championship as a competitor and I think the 250 is a great growing class. Yamaha have an extremely competitive bike so I hope I can represent our team well."

"Our intention is not only to represent the Subway brand but to showcase the whole Supermotard scene and to show the public the versatility of bikes such as the ones we are using".
