Ride Day for Victorian Supermotard pilots

On Tuesday 15th April 03, the Supermotard Riders Club of Australia will conduct a coaching/ride day at South Morang Go Kart circuit, known as the Grand Prix Training centre.

The circuit incorporates a dirt section and lighting which will enable riding activities to continue after dark. The Tuesday night sessions will commence at 6pm and SRCA members will be able to ride for just $35. Non SRCA members can ride as well for $55 which also includes a yearly SRCA membership.

This is the first of many opportunities that will be available for Supermotard at this venue. SRCA anticipates that the circuit owners will develop the track into a permanent Supermotard layout to allow constant practice for SM riders to expand their skills and giving SRCA an ability to introduce new riders to this exciting sport.

In conjunction with SRCA, the Grand Prix Training centre anticipates conducting a major SM event of the likes that has yet to be seen anywhere in Australia. Details will be announced soon along with dates of a proposed four round Vic SM Championship that will commence late July.
