WA is set for its first introduction to Supermoto machines in action around a tight circuit at Henderson next Saturday, May 10.

Participants can ride the circuit from 1-6pm.  The minimum age set for this non-competitive introduction day is 13 while the smallest machine allowed on track will be 125cc.

Minimum clothing requirements are nylon bottoms with jeans underneath.  While the upper torso should be covered by a leather jacket. An approved road or MX helmet is compulsory as are road or MX boots and gloves.

Those with 18, 19 or 21 inch rims need not worry as we will have a stock of new and second hand road based tyres for your machines.  A new set of tyres suitable for this purpose will cost you around $110 for the set at the track.  A tyre machine will be on hand at the track.

Cost for the day is expected to come in around $50.

The track has been tested by factory KTM rider Rob Twyerould.  He praised the 1.07km layout and was enthusiastic about the potential the Henderson circuit holds for Supermoto riders.

Turn up on May 10 to get your own taste of the action.
