The hybrid action of supermoto racing is building momentum in Western Australia with a huge turnout at the previous social ride day event held at the exciting 1.07km Cockburn Raceway.

Here dirt based machinery equipped with road biased tyres pull lurid slides in the hands of some experts, while others scrape their knee around all eleven turns at the awesome Cockburn layout.

But it is not all undertaken at such a hectic pace as there are also sessions for novices where many riders have ridden their road/trail machinery to the track to enjoy a run around the confines of the tight and tricky 11-turn circuit.

September 13 is the date for the next event with action getting underway from 12 noon and running through until light fades.

Full canteen facilities are available at reasonable prices throughout with the bar being opened late in the afternoon. Riders of dirt bikes, scooters and minimotos that wish to ride on the day are invited to come along. Entry is free for spectators.
