After a bright and sunny start to the day, the morning warm-up saw Gerald Delepine (BEL-Vertemati) post the fastest time ahead of pole man Eddy Seel (BEL - Husqvarna) and Jürgen Künzel (GER – KTM), Marcel Goetz (SUI -KTM) registering the fourth fastest time.

On the Race 1 starting grid Eddy Seel (BEL – Husqvarna) was first followed by Boris Chambon (FRA – KTM), Davide Gozzini ( ITA – Husqvarna) and Jürgen Künzel (GER – KTM). Seel took the lead from start to finish followed by Massimo Beltrami (ITA – Husqvarna) and Davide Gozzini (ITA-Husqvarna 2R).

During the Race 2 Ivan Lazzarini felt down and stopped the race. He didn’t run the Superfinal. Eddy Seel won again the Race 2 with a good lead. Gozzini and Chambon fought over second position.

It was a great weekend for Davide Gozzini who finished third in Race 1 and Superfinal and second in Race 2. He made the best time of the Superpole with 1 :09 :370 followed by Eddy Seel 1 :09 :509, Boris Chambon 1 :09 :894 and Jürgen Künzel 1 :10 :021.

Davide Gozzini took the lead of this Superfinal but Chambon passed him in the fourth lap and kept his position up to the end. Fiorentino felt down in the first lap and finished fifteenth. Boris Chambon won the Superfinal with a best lap of 1 :08 :93 followed by Eddy Seel 1 :08 :34, Davide Gozzini 1 :09 :05, Jürgen Künzel 1 :09 :31 and Gérald Delepine 1 :09 :86.

Claudio Castiglioni, President of MV Agusta Motorcycles group ( Husqvarna belongs to the group since 1986), commented satisfied at the end of the race “This is the result of the great effort and commitment of the entire Team and an award for those that believed in us”.

Husqvarna adds two World titles to the ones conquered always in 2003 by Eriksson in the enduro. A happy ending to the celebrations of the Swedish brand that celebrates it’s 100th anniversary. The candles on the cake are now 67, each representing a world title in the three disciplines: motocross, enduro and supermotard.

1st heat: 1. Seel (Husqvarna), 2. Beltrami (Husqvarna), 3. Gozzini (Husqvarna), 4. Chambon (KTM), 5. Kunzel (KTM), 6. Guyot (Husqvarna), 7. Delepine (Vertemati).

2nd heat: 1. Seel (Husqvarna), 2. Gozzini (Husqvarna), 3. Chambon (KTM) , 4. Kunzel (KTM), 5. Delepine (Vertemati), 6. Giraudo (Vertemati), 7. Manzo (Vertemati).

Superfinal: 1. Chambon , 2. Seel (Husqvarna), 3. Gozzini (Husqvarna), 4. Kunzel (KTM), 5. Delepine (Vertemati), 6 Beltrami (Husqvarna), 7.Manzo (Vertemati), 8. Guyot (Husqvarna).
