| Neil Hodgson led them away this time from Xaus and Laconi to make the top three the same as in race one. This time Chili had no problems but still got an average
start in 7th place, one ahead of Troy Corser. Walker 4th, Toseland 5th, Lavilla 6th. Once again it was the Fila Ducati boys out front trading places and taking all the limelight. Meanwhile Laconi again in third, Lavilla fourth. With two laps remaining Hodgson out-braked himself while tussling with Xaus and ran straight through a gravel trap but regained the circuit in 5th place. Xaus took the win to make it a double, while Hodgson regained a place to take fourth position.
