2005 Australian Motocross
Championship - Round Eight - Conondale (QLD) - Final Pro Open Championship
Standings July 3rd, 2005 |
![]() |
These results are
provisional as an appeal is yet to be heard on Daryl
Hurley's 15 second penalty that he was issued after an
alleged yellow flag incident during the first moto at
Conondale. Hurley won the moto convincingly but was
docked 15 seconds for passing under a yellow which pushed
him back to third place for that moto. These points
standing reflect the third place rather than the first place
but Suzuki are appealing against the 15 second penalty and
if they are successful that would mean that Hurley actually
wins the championship by a more clear margin than shown here
so the fact that Hurley is champion is fact. If
Suzuki's appeal is successful however it will most affect
Craig Anderson who has 223 points, the same number as Danny
Ham but due to Ando winning more races he takes fourth spot
and Ham fifth. Obviously if Hurley's appeal is
successful Ham will take fourth in the championship from
Anderson.
