Unedited race notes from our live reporting page

  • 0845 - Broadfoot takes the win by 6.3 seconds over Edwards who in turn ended the race with a 2.2 second advantage over final podium place getter Chris Casella.  Danny Higgins scored fourth just behind Casella with Daniel Figueiredo also in tow
  • 0843 - Broadfoot gets the last lap board after putting down a 1m44.2 with a 6.5 second advantage over Edwards but Edwards also now down in the 1m44s with a 1m44.6 that time around to leave Chris Casella drifting off the back of him in third place
  • 0841 - Broadfoot again in the 1m44s this time around but Edwards getting up to speed now he is past the other riders, still not fast enough to be catching Broadfoot though as his 1m45.5 is still half a second lower than Broadfoot's current pace
  • 0839 - Broadfoot quicker again this time around with a 1m44.7 to stretch his lead out by a further two seconds.  Darren Edwards has fought his way through to second place now as they pass the halfway point but he will need a miracle to catch race leader Dale Broadfoot who now has a clear 5.5 second advantage and a clear track in front of him.  Edwards still has Casella and Phillips right on his tail
  • 0837 - Broadfoot streaking away now with a 3.7 second advantage over Casella and the only man down in the 1m44s
  • 0835 - This is a six lap encounter and with one down it is still Broadfoot leading the way with a 1.6 second advantage over Chris Casella who in turn has half a second on Daniel Figueiredo who has Aaron Phillips and Darren Edwards right on his tail but Broadfoot is escaping
  • 0833 - Broadfoot got away well but Edwards bogged a little on the line
  • 0829 - Australian Superstock race one about to leave the line
