--  Unedited notes from our live text updates which ran live from the circuit

  • 1327 - Simmonds takes the win by nearly 13 seconds while Galvin just manages to hold out Brent Rigoli to take second place. Fourth Andrew Willy who got the better of Rudi Muller in the closing stages of the race then a couple of second further back was Tim Inkster.  Tom Hatton 7th followed by Thompson, Moller, Panayi, Cutting, Scott, Coleman, Bell, Khalek
  • 1323 - Simmonds down into the 72 second bracket not too far off Josh Brookes' 125 lap record around here and he is blitzing the field in this encounter, with three laps to run Simmonds leads by nearly ten seconds!  Galvin is coming under intense pressure from Brent Rigoli and Rudi Muller while Andrew Willy looks on a couple of bike lengths further behind in fifth
  • 1317 - 125 GP machines away now for their opening race and it is Simmonds and Galvin the leading protagonists early on but Simmonds pulled out good ground around the back sections of the circuit to leave Galvin in his wake and had stretched his lead out to an incredible 1.7 seconds by the end of lap one.
