  • 1634 - Just went and interviewed some of the riders which means we missed the final sidecar and C&D races but all results and other content will be posted in late braking news shortly as we will be shutting this service down.  The first Superbike race is under protest but we believe the matter will not affect the top ten
  • 1607 - Superbike Race Two Results
  • 1605 - Krusty just got shown the last lap board, the race is his,  Shannon wants to cross the line before Brookes no matter what the timers say and he takes him at the Northern Hairpin and holds him off under brakes for the esses but then Shannon runs a little wide which allows Brookes back through
  • 1604 - Two laps to run and Fergusson leads by 2 seconds over Giles on combined time, then it s a further 2.4 seconds back to Brookes in third, then it is Johnson, Allerton, Bugden, Stauffer, Charlton according to the combined timing display
  • 1603 - Shannon Johnson closing on Brookes on the track but the gap on combined time is 2.7 seconds so Brookes has little to worry about with only a couple of laps to go as on the timing he has a good buffer in his favour
  • 1602 - Jamie Stauffer trying to find a way past Anthony Gobert on the track and Anthony gives him the room to go by under brakes for the esses, Gobert is ninth on combined time while Jamie is seventh on combined time as he did lose a little progress while behind Gobert
  • 1601 - Shannon has only managed to reel Brookes in a by another tenth
  • 1600 - Jamie struggling his way through the field following that earlier mishap but is in an incredible sixth place on combined time
  • 1558 - Race order on combined time with 8 laps to run is Fergusson with a 1.7 second lead now over Giles who in turn has a second on Brookes according to the combined timing display. Shannon a clear fourth on combined time 3.5 seconds behind Brookes.  That gap between Johnson and Brookes down to 3.1 now with 7 laps to run
  • 1557 - Shannon Johnson looking very determined in this one and absolutely smoking the Dunlop on his R1 as he tries to get past Allerton...He does exactly out of the Northern Hairpin, Shannon is on a mission...
  • 1555 - They are away in the restart and it is Stauffer leading from Fergusson and Giles, Jamie runs wide at the end of the pitlane straight and goes dirt tracking and grass tracking before rejoining at the rear of the field. So Krusty leading from Giles, Brookes and Allerton on the track which is also the order on combined time.
  • 1551 - Gilesy has formed up on the grid, Jamie also,  they will be off on another warm up lap shortly.  The restart will be for 11 laps and then the result will be decided on we believe combined time.
  • 1550 - Jamie Stauffer seems to have also got a hole in his radiator from that debris. Riders heading out of pitlane for another sighting lap now.. Suzuki and Kawasaki teams trying to put the used tyres from the bikes they just rode onto their spare bikes. Bedlam in pitlane...
  • 1545 - The part of the track concerned being swept now, then we will be up for a restart
  • 1542 - Gilesy runs too deep at turn one and thus has to take a detour through pitlane, actually it looks as though he could park it up in pitlane maybe, RED FLAG OUT, somebody down or t could be because we have just found out that Giles has actually retired with a hold radiator so perhaps it is debris on track somewhere from a crash and the red flag as a precautionary measure because of the debris
  • 1541 - Brookesy sideways under brakes for the esses to slip through on Giles to take that third position
  • 1540 - Jamie gets the lead but runs a little wide which allows Fergusson straight back through, still 12 laps to go and I think this will be a four way battle to the end if Giles and Brookes don't lose any more ground on Fergusson and Stauffer
  • 1539 - Jamie hounding Fergusson at nearly every turn while another second behind them Brookesy is doing exactly the same thing to Gilesy in trying to mount a challenge for third
  • 1538 - Brookesy right on the pipe of Gilesy now and backing the Fireblade in spectacularly sideways
  • 1537 - Still Fergusson but Jamie all over him and will make a move any moment
  • 1535 - Fergusson and Jamie Stauffer have pulled away from Giles a little and Brookes is catching Giles and Johnson is closing also
  • 1533 - Fergusson takes the lead under brakes for the esses, Jamie right there with them and threatening Gilesy. But Gilesy got a little untidy getting on the power and drifted a little wide which allowed Fergusson to escape a few more bike lengths.  Jamie Stauffer then under Gilesy under brakes for the esses. Brookes, Johnson and Allerton have gone passed Gobert to push the Go Show back to seventh place.  It should be noted that Anthony is on a privateer bike with no spare bike and very limited modifications so he is certainly behind the eight ball on the machinery front but great to see him out there and having a good go all the same
  • 1531 - That order remains the same with Shannon Johnson all over the back of Gobert, Brookes behind Johnson also champing at the bit. Adam alongside Giles under brakes but has to let Giles take the line, Krusty right on his pipe through the fast turn around the back of the circuit but Gilesy holding on still.
  • 1530 - Giles and Fergusson away equally well but it is Shawn with the line for turn one and leads from Fergusson and Jamie Stauffer. Anthony Gobert got a great run off the line and is running fourth
  • 1528 - Superbikes on warm up lap now
  • 1522 - Superbikes up next
  • 1518 - Superstock final race - Edwards, Andrews, Higgins, Ingram, Phillips, Clarke, Hay, Watson, Doddrell, Bonthorne, Christie, Liddicoat, Vikuckis, Figueiredo, Vogel, Belamarie
  • 1515 - Superstock final race well underway and Andrews leads from Edwards, Figueiredo, Bennett and Higgins with that top five covered by only a single second with two laps to run
  • 1514 - Twins Race 3 Full Results - Twins Championship Points -
  • 1501 - Supersport Race 2 Full Results - Supersport Championship Points -
  • 1455 - Pro Twins Race Three Results - Archibald, Allen, McMartin, Fripp, Liminton, A Johnston, Johnston, Clark, Whyment, R Liminton
  • 1451 - Four laps to run and the Aprilia men have got away from the Ducati, Archibald and Allen running together out in front while McMartin is now 2.6 seconds adrift in third
  • 1446 - Pro Twins away in their final bout for the round, McMartin away in front with Allen and Archibald on his tail. James Van Rooyen went down at turn two but got up and walked away
  • 1445 - Pro Twins up next

  • 1435 - Last lap board out now and it is clear than Fergusson is going to be the winner and Brookes is going to be second but it is third place that is being fought over,  Clarkey has him, Clarke gets third place from Aitchison around the back of the circuit, holds on to it through the hairpin, Aitchison alongside under brakes before the esses, Clarkey still with his nose in front, to the line they come.... Clarke gets it for a hard fought third position.
  • 1434 - Two laps to run and Clarke is sure to mount a challenge before the flag comes out to end this one
  • 1432 - Clarke has taken two-tenths out of Aitchison on each of the previous two laps. Staring is now four seconds behind that pair but his fifth place looks safe as he has an 8 second buffer over Seaton
  • 1431 - Clarkey really wants that third place from Aitchison but has a few tenths to make on him, this pair riding as hard as they can
  • 1429 - The fastest riders on the circuit right now are Aitchison and Clarke, the pair running 69.2 and 69.1 respectively that time around and Staring is now two seconds adrift of the duo.  Fergusson 1.2 seconds ahead of Brookes while Aitchison is a further six seconds behind Brookes with Clarke a few tenths further behind.  Five laps to run
  • 1426 - Clarke has picked his pace up a little again in comparison to his closest foes, he has managed to open up a few bike lengths over Staring and at the same time has closed the gap to the third place Aitchison in front of him
  • 1425 - Chris Seaton, Jason O'Halloran, Gareth Jones, Caleb Stalder, Jordan Coote and Zac Davies having a great tussle over sixth position.
  • 1424 - Staring has a bit of a slide around the very fast turn on the back straight in an effort to get alongside Clarke under brakes at the Northern Hairpin but Clarke has the better line at the hairpin and retains the advantage
  • 1423 - Fergusson now has a full second over Brookes who in turn has six seconds on third placed Aitchison. Staring looking for a way through on Clarke
  • 1422 - Josh Waters' Kawasaki trailing a large plume of smoke each lap now when he exits the Northern Hairpin
  • 1421 - Staring has moved past Waters now to take fifth and immediately catches the tail of Clarke to start challenging for fourth
  • 1420 - New lap record for Fergusson, 69.06
  • 1419 - Aitchison trying hard to steal third from Clarke.  Adam and Josh have pulled out five seconds clear of the field after only five laps in a clear show of outright dominance. Staring has promoted himself up to sixth after passing Seaton and O'Halloran
  • 1418 - Full results and points for the 125cc class have been added to the event navigation at the bottom of this page
  • 1416 - Behind the leading Honda duo was Brendan Clarke followed by Mark Aitchison, Josh Waters, Jason O'Halloran, Chris Seaton and Bryan Staring
  • 1415 - They are away now in the final Supersport battle of the day. Can Fergusson do it as easy as he did in the opening race? Both Honda men blast off the line well with Brookes leading through the first turns, Baird ran straight on a turn two and thus lost a lot of time and places and then to add further insult he was given a jump start penalty effectively ending his chances of obtaining a good points tally here today. Fergusson hit the lead near the Northern Hairpin to put the #1 machine at the front of the pack which was already not resembling much of a pack as the Honda men were already pulling away.
  • 1404 - Nakedbike Race 3 results - Nakedbike Points
  • 1402 - Brett Simmonds takes the win by 5 seconds over Galvin while Rigoli took third. Tim Inkster fourth, Cath Thompson fifth, Tom Hatton sixth followed by Moller, Bell, Khalek, Scott, Cutting, Panayi, Coleman
  • 1356 - Final 125 race of the weekend underway now and again Brett Simmonds is the dominator, he leads by two seconds over Galvin with Rigoli holding down third
  • 1340 - Archibald takes the win, Cartwright second and Brenton third.  Then from fourth back was Allen, Rattenbury, Hoare, Van Rooyen, Whyment, Smith, Mills
  • 1339 - Archibald has run away with this one again, Cartwright running second and being hounded by Michael Brenton
  • 1330 - Lunch break winding up now, nakedbike race three up next
  • 1249 - Sidecars out for their first race of the day now, Abbott leading the way from Hutchinson, Treasure
  • 1247 - The Superbike race results should be treated as perhaps very provisional it seems as there are some noises being made here, our guess would be that could possibly be due to some sort of speed infringement through pitlane.  Nonetheless this is how it looks until we are advised otherwise

  • 1235 - PROVISIONAL Superbike Race One Results (Removed following post above with table of results but still provisional)
  • 1235 - Gilesy does it by 4.4 seconds.  I wouldn't like to be in the Honda or Kawasaki pits after this race as Adam and Jamie will be extremely annoyed at their mistakes
  • 1234 - Last lap now and it is Giles leading by five seconds from Jamie Stauffer, Brookes a few tenths behind in third place, then Shannon Johnson back in fourth place with a two second buffer over Glenn Allerton. Fergusson has made it up to sixth .
  • 1231 - Lots of lapped traffic now for the leading boys but Gilesy out on his own in front by more than five seconds ahead of the battle for second place which is unfolding between Brookes and Jamie Stauffer.  Shannon Johnson a further five seconds behind in fourth place and has been running solo for virtually the whole race.  Two laps to run now and Jamie has pushed past Brookes for second place
  • 1229 - With five laps to run Jamie Stauffer made the same mistake that Krusty did earlier on in running in too deep into turn one and thus having to run through pitlane which handed Gilesy the lead and a clear lead at that.  Jamie came out of pitlane just behind Josh which seemed a bit quick but I'm sure if anything was improper we will find out later on
  • 1228 - Allerton trying very hard on the Suzuki laying darkies on the way out of the turns and darkies sideways on the way into other turns, a pretty wild ride onboard that machine today
  • 1226 - Fergusson through on Charlton and then Gobert to get back up to seventh, 8 laps to run
  • 1224 - 10 laps to run and the race order is; Stauffer, Giles, Brookes, Johnson, Allerton, Bugden, Gobert, Charlton, Fergusson, Geronomi, Henderson, Coote
  • 1223 - Disaster for Krusty into turn one, he runs on and thus has to go through pitlane before rejoining the track, what a blow!  So now the fight for the win will be down to three men, Jamie, Shawn and Josh and the trio are already encountering lapped traffic... That run through pit lane cost Adam dearly, pushed back to ninth place some 13 seconds behind the leaders
  • 1222 - Jamie has got away from Shawn a little and the Honda men are now hounding him
  • 1221 - 13 laps to run and it is Jamie, Shawn, Adam, Josh with only a second covering the whole quartet
  • 1220 - Brookesy on the pace now also down to 67 flat and pulled a couple of tenths back on the trio in front of him that time around.  Adam and Jamie nearly clash under brakes and Adam comes off worst and the mistake also allowed Gilesy through so Adam back to third and Josh all over the back of him!
  • 1219 - Gilesy getting in the groove now with a 67 flat to start closing some ground back on Jamie and Adam.  Brookesy not far behind in fourth. Adam up the inside of Jamie before the esses,  now can he escape....?
  • 1218 - Adam the fastest man on track currently with a 66.9 for a new lap record and now all over the back of Jamie
  • 1217 - Josh hugely sideways underneath Shannon at the end of the pitlane straight, he must have just about run out of lock but he keeps it upright and makes the move stick
  • 1216 - Adam up the inside of Shawn before the esses on lap two and out after Jamie now
  • 1215 - Giles leads them around the back of the circuit but Jamie Stauffer is right on his hammer and slots up the inside under brakes before the esses, end of lap one now and it is Jamie, Shawn, Adam, Shannon and Josh
  • 1214 - Gilesy off the line really well, Jamie second and Krusty struggles to get off the line again with the front wheel shooting skywards
  • 1209 - Superbikes up next
  • 1200 - C&D Race 2 Results
  1. Partoosh
  2. Van Rooyen
  3. Liminton
  4. Manning
  5. Hall
  6. Tuchyna
  7. Whyment
  8. N Liminton
  9. Middleton
  • 1158 - Partoosh leading the way on a 600
  • 1153 - C&D race on now
  • 1142 - Superstock Race Two Results
  • 1140 - Doddrell's lead out to over five seconds now, amazing for a Superstock race
  • 1137 - Doddrell leading by 3.6 seconds, Andrews in second, Bonthorne in third and Bennett in fourth
  • 1135 - Doddrell sprinting away in this one
  • 1132 - Doddrell leading the way in this Superstock encounter from Andrews and Bonthorne. Edwards, Bennett, Higgins and Figueiredo following.
  • 1127 - Superstockers up next
  • 1123 - Archibald takes the win by 4 seconds while Brenton takes second place by a nose over John Allen. McMartin faded a little towards the end to bring home fourth, Fripp fifth then it was Van Rooyen, Johnston, Martinello, Liminton, M Johnston, Clark, Whyment, N Liminton and Sandy Ellul bringing home the wooden spoon
  • 1115 - Archibald just set a new class lap record with a 68.8, two seconds off what the four cylinder Superbike can do around here but a good pace for the Pro Twins and by far the fastest man in the class.  McMartin, Brenton and Allen fighting hard over second place
  • 1113 - Archibald leading the way from McMartin.
  • 1111 - Pro Twin race just got underway
  • 1004 - Supersport Race 1 Full Results
  • 1102 - The win is for sure going to Krusty and Aitchison holds on to take second from Brookes, Clarke 4th, Waters 5th, Staring 6th, O'Halloran 7th, Seaton 8th
  • 1101 - Aitchison just went completely sideways one way and then the other under brakes at the end of the back straight to slip past Brookes up the inside, how he kept it together I will never know but he did exactly that and Brookes had to let him have the position so Aitchison now up into second, can't see Brookes letting him have it all the way to the line, surely there will be a challenge back on the last lap...
  • 1100 - Aitchison all over the back of Brookes now, he is going to have a go shortly for sure, Brookesy really sliding his CBR600RR into the turns quite luridly, Aitchison looks quite tidy in contrast but perhaps chasing the front end a little
  • 1059 - Only a couple of bike lengths between Brookes and Aitchison now, 3 laps to run....
  • 1058 - Staring still 6th and has pulled away from O'Halloran to the tune of three full seconds but he is making no inroads into the group in front of him
  • 1057 - Aitchison breaking away a little from Clarke and Waters now, the Yamaha privateer putting in a big effort to try and chase down Brookes in order to challenge for that second place
  • 1056 - They are into a little bit of lapped traffic now so it will be interesting to see who it helps and who it hinders...
  • 1055 - The battle for third is where the action still is with Aitchison the top man in that group with Clarke and Waters tucked in behind him.  Brookes is only 1 second in front of them so it is not out of the question that the trio may catch the Honda man.  Fergusson leads by nearly 5 seconds
  • 1054 - Staring is up to 6th now after pushing past O'Halloran.  He is three seconds behind Waters but there eight laps still to run
  • 1053 - Aitchison back up to third after putting a move on Clarke. Waters still with them also
  • 1051 - Clarke up into third now after pouncing on Aitchison, I reckon Clarkey might catch Brookesy in the next couple of laps....  Nobody is going to touch Adam Fergusson however as he has gone
  • 1050 - Clarke through on Waters to promote himself up to fourth place, this battle for third place looks to be closing on the second placed Brookes.  O'Halloran has got past Seaton and a lap later Staring also went through and up to 7th place
  • 1049 - Aitchison has got through on Waters now and has managed to pull a couple of bike lengths out on him while Waters is now coming under heavy attack from Clarke.  O'Halloran is looking to try and steal sixth place from Seaton and Staring is trying to close that pair down afetr a shocking start
  • 1047 - The rear end of Waters' Kawasaki wiggling away on the exit of some of the turns as he tries to get the power down and stay ahead of Aitchison.  Race order now Fergusson then it is 2 seconds back to Brookes and a further 1.3 seconds back to Waters who is closely followed by Aitchison and Clarke with Seaton, O'Halloran and Staring not too much further behind
  • 1046 - Aitchison is piling the pressure on Waters but the Kawasaki man is just riding his own race and is unfettered by all the attention
  • 1045 - Fergusson has a handy lead over Brookes now and Aitchison is all over Waters in an effort to get past, Brendan Clarke is closing on them also so that battle for third could soon grow to a three rider affair
  • 1044 - Fergusson, Brookes, Waters, Aitchison, Clarke, Seaton, O'Halloran, Baird the current race order
  • 1042 - Krusty pulling away a little from Brookes now... Waters managing to fend off Aitchison to hang on to his third position
  • 1041 - Still Krusty from Josh as they go through the esses and across the start finish straight to complete the first flying lap
  • 1040 - Starters hands..... They are off and it is Brookes, Fergusson and Waters side by side towards turn one but it was Fergusson who got to the lead and led his team mate around the back of the circuit for the first time while Aitchison started to threaten Josh Waters.
  • 1035 - Supersport out next
  • 1032 - There is of course another 125 race later today but after that bout Simmonds has a perfect score thus far in this round with two wins and a pole point while Galvin has brought home two second places - 125 Race 2 Full Results
  • 1030 -Brett Simmonds takes a very convincing win by 8.5 seconds in this encounter. Peter Galvin a clear second place ahead of Rudi Muller who escaped from the fourth placed Tim Inkster in the closing laps.
  • 1027 - Andrew Willy then highsided himself out of the Northern Hairpin which promoted Rudi Muller up into third place
  • 1025 - With four laps to go that battle for third was reduced by one protagonist after Brent Rigoli ran off into the dirt.  Brett Simmonds also just set a new lap record with a 72.26 eclipsing Josh Brookes' long standing record of 72.405 that he set back in 2000
  • 1022 - 125 race two well underway now and Brett Simmonds is the man in charge up front and pulling away, Galvin in second while a good little battle is developing between Brent Rigoli, Andrew Willy, Tim Inkster and Rudi Muller.
  • 1018 - 125 machines on their out lap now
  • 1016 - Nakedbike Race 2 Results
  • 1011 - All Archibald in this one as per normal and a new lap record to boot with a 69.2 on the Tuono. Brenton very impressive here as always and also in the 69s. Rattenbury is third, Cartwright fourth, Allen fifth with three laps to run
  • 1010 - Perfect morning out here at Mallala, blue skies, no wind
  • 1007 - The Nakedbikes kick off today's races and they are out on their first lap now with Archibald leading the way from local man Michael Brenton
  • 0954 - Superbike warm up
  • 0943 - Superbike warm up out next
  • 0929 - I wouldn't read anything into them but here are the times from the Supersport warm up session
  • 0923 - Many of the fast boys did not bother going out in the Supersport warm up session. Aitchison was the quickest on the very cold track from Staring.
  • 0915 - Nakeds and 125 machines have just finished their warm up sessions and heading out now are the Supersports for their morning warm up.  Fine and clear sky here at Mallala, very little breeze, track will be cold this morning though as quite chilly out here in the mornings before the sun wakes up and takes the chill out of the air.
