  • 1708 - That's us done for today, see you tomorrow.
  • 1704  - Pictorial - Gallery F from Winton
  • 1630 - Full Results from C&D Race 1
  • 1612 - C&D Race 1 Results - Taborsky, Van Rooyen, R Liminton, Partoosh, Reviglio, Manning, Hall, Middleton
  • 1544 - Superbike Grid
  • 1540 - Everyone on their final flying lap now, Krusty just about twisting the throttle grip off the bars of his Fireblade, the physical effort was that obvious!  And Krusty normally looks as though he is on a summer holiday so that will tell you what sort of lap that was...  Krusty on pole with a 1m22.83 to just edge out Johnson who had put in a 1m22.89.  Bugden third courtesy of his morning time, 1m23.23, Brookes 4th 1m23.35, Giles 5th 1m23.66, Dan Stauffer 1m23.67, Gobert 1m23.86, Jamie Stauffer 1m23.94
  • 1539 - Flag about to come out
  • 1537 - Brookesy up to third in this session, 1m23.35. Bugden fourth in this session but third on combined times
  • 1535 - 5 minutes left and the pace is really quickening now and times dropping  - Johnson quickest with 1m22.89, Fergusson 1m23.13, Bugden 1m23.50, Giles 1m23.66, Dan Stauffer 1m23.67, Brookes 1m23.76
  • 1530 - 10 minutes remaining in this session and still nobody faster than Bugden's morning time, as it stands in this session it is Johnson, Fergusson, Giles, Dan Stauffer, Bugden, Gobert, Brookes, Jamie Stauffer.  Josh Brookes carrying a very sore knee following his fall this morning
  • 1527 - Pace picking up now, Johnson quickest in this session now with 1m23.46
  • 1526 - Krusty to the top in this session now, 1m23.61
  • 1525 - 15 minutes to run and Dan Stauffer quickest thus far in this session with a 1m23.87 to make it Yamaha 1-2 in this session but still more than half a second away from Bugden's best time this morning
  • 1520 - 20 minutes remaining in this session and only Johnson and Giles down in the 1m23s but nobody getting down towards Bugden's 1m23.2 from this morning as Shannon's best thus far in this session is 1m23.88 and Giles has only put down a 1m23.92. More tyre testing that qualifying going on right now I think and we will have to wait until the end of the session before they start putting in some real flyers
  • 1510 - Superbikes on track now for their final qualifier
  • 1501 - Superstock Race 1 - Phillips, Bartlome, Henry, Hay, Ingram, Andrews, Bonthorne, Doddrell, Edwards, Bennett, Figueiredo, Casella, Watson, Quinn, Yates, Dowell, Webster, Higgins, Liddicoat, Cowie, Griffin, Vogel, Ready, Baker.  Edwards now leads the series with 247 points while in second place is Hay on 202 points.
  • 1457 - Aaron Phillips and Damon Bartlome battled over the lead for a few laps before Phillips managed to escape.  Ben Henry had battled with Dean Bonthorne over third place but it was Henry who got the upper hand and then picked up his pace to close within striking distance of a chance to challenge Bartlome for second place with two laps to run
  • 1450 - Superstock race 1 underway and the leading protagonists early on are Damon Bartlome, James Doddrell, Dean Bonthorne, Darren Edwards and Ben Henry
  • 1444 - First Superstock race up next
  • 1441 - Pro Twins Race 1 - McMartin, Fripp, Taborsky, Johnston, Martinello, Johnston, Liminton, Van Rooyen, Clark, Snowden, Ellul, N Liminton and then Jon Collins the last man home in 13th
  • 1438 - Two laps to run in the Pro Twins race and McMartin leads Fripp by more than 8 seconds, Taborsky in third place a further ten seconds behind
  • 1427 - Full Supersport Combined Qualifying Results / Grid
  • 1424 - Pro Twins heading out for their first race shortly. The track is clean and dry but conditions must still be far from perfect as the Supersport lap times are not as quick as expected. If good conditions prevail tomorrow expect 1m24s during the races
  • 1420 - Pictorial - Images from this morning's Superbike qualifying - Gallery E
  • 1416 - Supersport Combined Qualifying Times / Grid - Brookes 1m25.7 - Fergusson 1m25.9 - Aitchison 1m26.0 - Seaton 1m26.3 - O'Halloran 1m26.6 - Coote 1m26.7 - Stalder 1m27.2 - Stanley 1m27.3 - Crowe 1m27.7 - Staring 1m27.7 - Waters 1m27.7 - Jones 1m27.8 - Clarke 1m27.9 -
  • 1405 - With ten minutes to go in Supersport Final Qualifying it is Honda 1-2 with Brookes on 1m25.77 and Fergusson 1m25.96. Aitchison next best on 1m2.02 ahead of Seaton and O'Halloran
  • 1404 - Full Results from 125 GP Race 1 -
  • 1344 - Full Results from Nakedbike Race 1 - Supersport Final Qualifying starting now
  • 1337 - Galvin now leads the series on 233 points while Rigoli takes no points from this round to remain in second place on the points table with a tally of 169 and Brett Simmonds retains third place in the standings despite not starting here this weekend after sustaining a recent injury while practicing
  • 1336 - Galvin held the lead over the final lap despite Smith's best efforts and the veteran multiple time Australian Champion gets the better of the youngster this time around to take the win by 2-tenths of a second. Galvin the fastest lap with a 1m30.43 to Smith's 1m30.68 but both riders more than two seconds outside of Bryan Staring's 125 GP lap record. Campbell takes the final step on the podium some 8 seconds behind the leader, Thompson 4th, Bell 5th, Willy 6th, Muller 7th, Scott 8th, Inkster 9th, Moller 10th.
  • 1334 - Galvin has the lead as they start the last lap but the pair still together...
  • 1332 - Galvin and Smith again neck and neck as they start the penultimate lap and putting down flat 1m31s with the occasional 1m30 thrown in for good measure
  • 1331 - As they came across the line with 3 laps to run Smith and Galvin were side by side but it was the veteran that edged in front as they entered turn one. Campbell now 6 seconds down in 3rd place with a 1 second buffer over Cath Thompson
  • 1330 - 125 Race 1 - Tom Hatton got a great run off the line to take the lead heading into the esses for the first time at Winton but Peter Galvin soon scythed his way through the field to take the lead before they have completed half a lap and was followed by Brent Rigoli and Blake Leigh-Smith as they started lap two while Hatton had been pushed back to fourth over the duration of that first lap which coincidentally is the first fully dry lap the 125 riders have ridden thus far this weekend. Brent Rigoli's progress forward was not all kosher however as he scored a ten second penalty to be added to his race time for jumping the start. As they commeneced lap thee it was young Blake Leigh-Smith closing in on race leader Galvin while Brent Rigoli had slipped to third place on the track. Paul Campbell had pushed his way up to 4th place, Cath Thompson 5th, Vincent Bell 6th, Peter Scott 7th and Andrew Willy 8th while Tom Hatton had stopped somewhere on the circuit. With five laps to run it was Blake Leigh-Smith leading from Peter Galvin and it looked as though it would be this pair, the tiny youngster and tiny veteran that would be the protagonists for the win as Paul Campbell in third place was nearly 5 seconds down on the leading duo.
