  • 1521 - Flag is out, they are on their last lap now. Giles has moved up to 2nd
  • 1520 - Session winding down now.... Jamie Stauffer on top in this session with a 1m10.5 from Brookes 1m10.6 then it is Allerton 10.6, Holland 10.7, Dan Stauffer 10.8, Giles 11.0, Bugden 11.0, Gobert 11.3
  • 1512 - 10 minutes remaining in this final Superbike session and Holland has gone to the top in this session with a 10.7 ahead of Allerton, Brookes and Jamie Stauffer who are also in the 10s but the top times still not as fast as what they were this morning... Standby for the sticky tyres to be slotted in.... Could we see our first 1m09s lap of Queensland Raceway....?
  • 1503 - Jamie the first man down to the 1m10s in this second session so the boys not going for their quick laps as yet. Jamie was of course quickest this morning but he was on a qualifier while Allerton and Fergusson were not so things could certainly change as this session progresses. The wind has gone back to blowing very strong again however and that could put a spanner in the works
  • 1452 - Superbikes on track now for their final qualifying session
  • 1445 - Superstock race one finishing order, Hay, Figueiredo and Quinn third but he has scored himself a jump start penalty so will be relegated to around 9th place I would imagine thus promoting Shane Ingram to the final step on the podium
  • 1437 - Superstock race on now with Hay leading the way from Figueiredo and Quinn
  • 1436 - Pro Twins Race One
  • 1417 - Pro Twins race one underway now and Craig McMartin is running away with it while Fripp and Roe fight it out for second place

  • 1403 - With only a couple of minutes to run it is Brookes, Fergusson, Waters, Aitchison, Seaton, Staring, Clarke, Jones
  • 1359 - The boys are getting serious now.....  Brookesy just set a new pole record with a 1m12.866, still a tenth off the lap record Brendan Clarke set in 2003 but it must be said that the circuit is certainly a lot bumpier these days
  • 1341 - Supersport final qualifying on now under bright warm sunshine but still a fair bit of wind around but certainly not as gusty and strong as this morning. Aitchison first man into the 1m13s in this session, Clarke on 14.1, Brookes 14.2.  22 minutes remaining in this session
  • 1328 - Smith hit the front at the end of the back straight... He keeps the advantage and takes the win, Galvin 2nd, Campbell 3rd. Smith and Galvin the only riders to get under 1m20s in that race. Thompson 4th, Bell 5th, Scott 6th, Esler 7th, Moller 8th, Coleman 9th, Panayi 10th, Dunn 11th
  • 1327 - Smith went around the outside of Galvin late in the penultimate lap but Galvo got him right back thanks to a better drive up the inside on the way out, Galvin in front last lap now
  • 1326 - 2 laps to run and Smith and Galvin crossed the line side by side, looks like it will be a battle to the end.  Tom Hatton has retired with some sort of mechanical drama. Campbell has eclipsed Thompson for 3rd
  • 1322 - Smith had managed to build a half a second buffer but then hit a little bit of dirt while running wide out of a corner and Galvin pounced at the next turn to take his turn out in front.
  • 1321 - Young Blake Leigh-Smith is managing to escape from Peter Galvin a little in the 125 race and Cath Thompson on the pace this weekend too and not too far behind Galvin, Campbell 4th, Scott 5th, Bell 6th, Hatton 7th, Esler 8th
  • 1320 - Nakedbike Race One
  • 1315 - Nakedbike results through shortly,  125 GP bikes up next for their first race of the weekend
  • 1304 - Just had some lunch in the Yamaha garage before then going and having some more lunch in the Honda garage just to show my lack of bias, I'll eat anyone's food...  Nakedbike race 1 just got underway and it looks as though it is going to be a two man battle for the win with Jon Cartwright and Simon Rattenbury the protagonists
  • 1238 - Soutar has the sidecar pole ahead of Alton, Hutchinson, Bruce, Sellars, Chivas, Treasure, Grubb, Rayner, James, Levy, Jones, Cole, Brown, Trounson, McConachy, Marten, Buxton and Bradley rounds out the field
  • 1231 - One of the sidecars just went up in flames, believe it is #12 Doug Chivas
  • 1219 - Pictorial - Gallery A
  • 1210 - Provisional results from Australian Superbike first qualifying
  • 1208 - All riders on their last lap now as the chequered flag is being waved
  • 1204 - Only a couple of minutes to run in this session and Jamie Stauffer is on top with a 1m10.5 from Glen Allerton on 1m10.90, Bugden 1m10.99, Fergusson 1m11.0, Brookes 1m11.0, Gobert 1m11.0, Giles 1m11.2, Dan Stauffer 1m11.4
  • 1145 - Allerton down to 1m10.9 now and Anthony Gobert just behind him on 1m11.0
  • 1141 - Superbikes on track now for their first qualifying session, the wind is very strong and is predicted to ease later so I don't imagine too many of the fast boys will be really trying to set their best time in this session. Allerton straight down to 1m11.6 ahead of Jamie Stauffer and Adam Fergusson
  • 1128 - C&D final qualifying on now then it is the Superbikes out for their first qualifier with very strong winds ready to catch a few riders out when it takes there front wheel away from them in turn one while the rain last night has stirred up the infield a little which has resulted in turn two getting a little dirty but like Brookesy said to me yesterday, 'if it was easy everyone would be doing it'
  • 1125 - Results from this morning so far - Nakedbike Grid - 125 GP Grid - Twins Grid - Supersport QP1 - Superstock Grid -
