  • 1638 - We believe the Superbike results have now been declared in the same order that we posted them so that makes everything pretty official now
  • 1555 - We believe a protest may have been lodged over the Superbike race although we can't imagine why...  At this stage of the game things can't be officially confirmed due to the protest but we are 95% sure that things will stand.  Giles was extremely gracious in defeat and visited the Honda team to congratulate all the mechanics and team personnel
  • 1530 - Superbike Race Two Provisional Results - We believe Jamie might have also pipped Krusty out of third in the championship with that second place.

  • 1528 - Brookes is champion, we believe he has done the double, repeating what his team-mate Adam Fergusson did last year giving the Joe Rocket Honda squad #1 plates across both classes once again
  • 1527 - I think Brookes may have won one more race this year than Giles so he could take the #1 plate.... But Gilesy thinks he has it too....  So who will it be.....
  • 1526 - Brookes takes the win, Jamie 2nd, Krusty 3rd,  Holland and Giles run to the line and Giles gets that 4th spot which puts Brookes and Giles on equal points so it will be a countback to decide the championship
  • 1525 - Last lap board

  • 1522 - Holland is challenging Giles for position....   If Holland gets in front of him and Brookesy wins it will be Brookes' championship
  • 1521 - Brookes get Jamie for the lead and Fergusson does his job by slotting through also to put himself between Brookes and Jamie.  Russell Holland past Gobert and on the back of Giles....  This is pressure stuff...
  • 1520 - Four laps to run

  • 1519 - The Michelin men, Jamie, Josh and Adam still in fairly tight formation. Brookesy right on Jamie but can't get through...  Gobert starting to hassle Giles...
  • 1518 - Gilesy has a huge slide on to the main straight, all the Dunlop men struggling here this weekend. Anthony Gobert is also on Dunlop and having to save the front and then the back at numerous points around the circuit.
  • 1517 - Jamie holding on to the lead, Brookesy trying to find an opportunity but the Kawasaki is damn fast here this weekend.  If Gobert can catch Giles and push him back another spot it will make him Honda's favourite son...
  • 1515 - Jamie is the fastest man here this weekend though and he gets Brookes for the race lead at turn four.  Anthony Gobert has got up to 5th after getting the better of Dan Stauffer
  • 1514 - Fergusson slots under Jamie at MG which spoils Jamie's line and gives Brookes a couple of lengths breathing space but Jamie gets right back Fergusson at turn 11 but that was some valuable space he bought Brookes...
  • 1513 - Jamie Stauffer gets second place from Fergusson and is all over Brookes, the two touch but remain upright.  The Honda pit bay will be seeing some major nail biting going on right now...
  • 1512 - The order with 9 laps to run

  • 1510 - Jamie Stauffer pushes Giles back to fourth, Giles needs to finish third if Brookesy wins the race. The game is most certainly on.  Jamie Stauffer looking for a way past Fergusson.  He does it at MG but Krusty gets him back on the entry in to turn 11,  Brookesy has a handy lead...
  • 1509 - Fergusson under Giles into MG Hairpin to put his Honda between Giles and Brookes which will certainly be what the Honda bosses want him to do in this race...
  • 1508 - Krusty gets a good run off the line but his team-mate leads the field through turn one and Giles pulls alongside Krusty in turn two and then takes second place sideways in to turn four to latch on to the back of Brookes for the run around Siberia on this first lap...
  •  1505 - Superbikes on their warm up lap now, who will get the #1 plate... Will it be Giles?  Will it be Brookes?  There is 7 points between them and Giles has the upper hand going in to this race...
  • 1455 - Superstock Race 3 just finished, Superbikes out next.  Provisional results from Superstock Race 3

  • 1409 - Aitchison takes the win, Staring and Brookes side by side on to the straight but Staring gets there for second place, Brookes third and the 2005 Australian Supersport Champion
  • 1408 - Last lap board and Brookes and Staring cross the line together in their battle for second place but Staring takes the advantage in to turn one.  Brookes only has to remain upright to lift the title so will not want to take unnecessary risks and would rather have the privateer in front of him rather than run the risk of getting punted from behind...

  • 1405 - Krusty out braked himself down to turn four and has now completely lost touch with Brookes and Staring and is shuffled further back by Waters...  Brookesy has the championship if he stays upright...
  • 1404 - Aitchison a country mile ahead...  The Honda men still nearly nose to tail through turns 11 and 12 as they head down to turn one...  Brookes and Staring have a few bike lengths on Fergusson now...
  • 1403 - Brookes has a couple of bike lengths on Fergusson this time around...    Staring gets Fergusson at the end of the main straight for third.  Four laps to run and the order is

  • 1401 - Fergusson really trying to get past Brookes, Staring right there also.... Down the straight they go, in to turn one and Staring takes Fergusson around the outside in turn one but Fergusson has the line for turn two to take that position right back.  Waters reeling in this group now...

  • 1358 - Krusty under Staring at MG but the WA youngster leans on him on the outside into turn 11 and the two battling hard.  Brookesy then blows past both of them at the end of the main straight to move back up to second place and Fergusson gets shuffled to fourth.  Fergusson under Staring into turn four to take back third place and latches on to the back of Brookes....  Aitchison has disappeared out in front
  • 1356 - There could have been a yellow flag out there down at turn four, not sure, but I had seen one waving there earlier...  Nothing being said officially though.  Staring has got back past Fergusson now for second place. Waters catching Brookes now
  • 1355 - Aitchison pulling away, has 3.1 seconds on them now, 1m37.4 from Aitchison to blow them away.  The Honda men went nose to tail into turn one.  Fergusson gets Staring at turn four for second place but it will be a miracle if he can catch Aitchison
  • 1353 - Staring up to second place and Fergusson right on the back of Brookes to challenge for third place. Aitchison pulling away.  Fergusson under Brookes at turn four and it looked as though Brookesy lost the front on entry and saved it .  Fergusson on Staring now and will take no prisoners in trying to force his way through to get out and after Aitchison who is doing a runner in this one
  • 1352 - Aitchison in the lead now and Staring right on the back of Brookes while Aitchison is starting to pull away
  • 1351 - The final Supersport race for 2005 underway now and it is Brookes, Aitchison and Staring leading the way once again, Fergusson fourth and being hassled by Waters

  • 1236 - Jamie still has the advantage by a couple of tenths over Brookes with two laps to run...
  • 1235 - Backmarkers now, Jamie and Josh both get through the first of them okay. Brookes closes right up to Jamie on the run to turn one
  • 1233 - Brookesy at his sideways best now and being very aggressive to try and catch the man on the green machine as the pair pull away from Fergusson
  • 1232 - Still Jamie out in front but the Honda men are catching him a little now, Brookes the lead Honda man at the moment and getting away from Fergusson a little...
  • 1230 - Jamie Stauffer still pulling away.  Brookes and Fergusson nose to tail, Holland there also, they go to turn one again and the order remains the same.  Holland down,  a terrible pity after putting in a great run.  That of course has helped Giles as he inherits that fourth spot and the extra couple of points that brings...
  • 1228 - Jamie has a handy lead now, Brookesy up to second, Krusty right with him in third place and being hassled by Holland.  Giles is closing on them a little
  • 1226 - Fergusson then it is Jamie Stauffer, Brookes, Holland still there.  Gilesy and Dan Stauffer the next best and around a second or so back.  Jamie takes the lead in to turn one as the top trio went three-wide before tipping in.  Jamie still in front through turns two and three, on the picks for turn four now and the order remains the same. Dan Stauffer goes off at turn four, he is up and okay.  Jamie pulling away from Adam now...
  • 1225 - Brookes, Fergusson, Jamie Stauffer all nose to tail down the main straight with Russell Holland right there too.  Krusty gets Brookes in to Southern Loop and Jamie gets Brookes in turn three, Krusty leads them at four, Brookes and Jamie side by side,  Holland still there too...
  • 1224 - Krusty under Jamie for second place between turns one and two and on to the back of Brookes
  • 1223 - Superbike race one underway and the early leader is Brookes from Holland, Jamie Stauffer, Adam Fergusson through the first turns but Jamie gets second place from Holland around the back of the circuit.  Through turn 11 for the first time now and it is Brookes from Jamie Stauffer and Adam Fergusson

  • 1112 - Brookes has lost ground on Aitchison on that lap, perhaps thinking about the championship and where Fergusson was rather than risk a coming together with Aitchison...
  • 1111 - Brookes still leading from Aitchison, they come on to the main straight side by side, Brookesy takes a tight entry into turn one while Aitchison took a very wide entry and the Yamaha man took the advantage between turn one and two as they continue their battle
  • 1109 - Still Brookes from Aitchison as the two run around nose to tail and Aitchison is looking as though he doesn't want to settle for second place
  • 1108 - This is the state of affairs with five laps to run

  • 1105 - Aitchison would have seen Staring fall right in front of him and will know that all he needs to do is score decent points in this race to wrap up the privateer's cup for the Supersport ranks.  Brookes takes the lead into turn one, Aitchison still with him.  Waters running third and Fergusson a distant fourth
  • 1103 - Brookes leading the way now from Staring and Aitchison as they come through turn 12 once again and the trio go virtually side by side across the line and Staring leads them into turn one from a wide entry and maintains the lead. Aitchison nearly ran onto Brookesy into turn two but it all remained tidy.  Aitchison backs it in sideways under Brookesy into turn four to take second place while Staring lost the front in turn four while leading to crash out of the lead
  • 1102 - Staring into the lead at turn one...  Waters has pushed Fergusson back to fifth place. Staring, Brookes, Aitchison the order up front...8 laps to run and only 1-tenth covers the leading trio.  Waters is pulling away from Fergusson
  • 1101 - Brookes from Aitchison and Staring, still right together.  A few bike lengths behind is Fergusson and Waters.  Staring gets Aitchison for second place at MG Hairpin, that move allowed Brookesy to get a couple of bike lengths.
  • 1100 - Brookes leads them through turn 11, the leading trio nose to tail through 12 and onto the main straight, Brookes and Staring side by side across the stripe.  Staring tries around the outside at turn one but it doesn't pay off and he loses a position to Aitchison
  • 1059 - Staring keeps the lead down the main straight but Brookes got him in turn one, Staring on his tail through 3 with Aitchison also in tow, the positions remain the same through turn four.  Fergusson has some ground to make up on the leading trio.
  • 1058 - Staring, Brookes, Aitchison nose to tail as they go through turn 11 for the first time...
  • 1057 - Brookes and Staring both get away well to lead the field through turn one but Staring gets the lead from Brookes in turn one while Aitchison and Fergusson touched fairings in to turn two. Still Staring at turn four from Brookes
  • 1054 - Supersport competitors on their warm up lap now
  • 1048 - The first Supersport race is up next
  • 1047 - Last lap now and it is Leigh-Smith from Hatton and Galvin and I think that might be the way it ends... And it does, Leigh-Smith the winner from Hatton and Galvin a close third. Thompson crossed the line in fourth but after her time penalty is applied that position will go to Brent Rigoli
  • 1046 - Leigh-Smith gets him back at turn four
  • 1045 - Hatton gets the lead again in turn one
  • 1043 - Hatton got Galvin into turn one for second place and then got around the outside of Blake Leigh-Smith for the lead but Leigh-Smith got the lead back at turn four
  • 1041 - Galvin takes the lead at the end of the main straight but went up the inside at turn three to take the lead
  • 1040 - Blake Leigh-Smith just took both Hatton and Galvin at turn four under brakes and leads them around the back of the circuit
  • 1039 - Cath Thompson has been given a jump start penalty, Hatton and Leigh-Smith are right on Galvin.
  • 1037 - 125 GP Race 2 on now and as they start the second lap it is Galvin from Hatton, Leigh-Smith and Thompson.
  • 1031 - Rattenbury takes the win by 4 seconds over Cartwright. Wilshaw took third place on the track but will be down in seventh or worse once his time penalty is applied so third place will go to Mick Shaw from Michael Brenton
  • 1029 - Rattenbury leads by 2 seconds over Cartwright with one lap to run
  • 1021 - Nakedbike race two underway now and it is Rattenbury leading from Cartwright and Wilshaw but Wilshaw may have jumped early but the officials are yet to rule on that one
  • 1005 - Superbike warm up provisional results
