Angela :  How’s Australia been for you so far Chris

FILLMORE :  It’s a winner for me…… you know,  I really like the heat.  Apart from today it’s been really quite hot and I enjoy that

Angela : What do think about Australian Supermoto.  Is this similar to the racetracks you ride on

FILLMORE : The track here is really good….back home we have dirt sections that have slightly bigger jumps but we don’t have anything like this for a road race section.

We have go kart tracks that are kind of one line no passing type of thing……… you can go three deep into some of these turns and still be good….. so I’m really enjoying this.

Angela :  How are you finding the really tight 1^st turn

FILLMORE : Umm, mm…..I’m not really sure about that 1^st turn….I’m getting through OK but it’s a bit sketchy

Angela :  Bring any special bits with you for your Honda….it looks very quick out there, especially in the turns

FILLMORE :  I brought with me my Dunlop tyres and my suspension off my race bike, so it workin real good….the motors a little bit sluggish…..but other than that it’s handling the same as my bike back home

Angela : Do you think grooving the tyres make a difference

FILLMORE : I don’t groove my tyres…I feel on the asphalt when I groove the tire the carcass is moving  around on me too much and I don’t like that at all

Angela :  What’s your strategy for the final

FILLMORE : Just got to hang in there and hope I don’t get any arm pump…I guess.

Angela : Looking forward to Coffs Harbour next weekend

FILLMORE : Yeah I heard it’s real nice up there, real tropical and the scenery’s awesome….you know every city seems almost  the same to me so,  I like to get out when I can and explore.
