After two sunny days the sky was cloudy for the Czech Republic GP with some raindrops in the initial part of the 250 race. But the track was completely dry and after a very close race Casey Stoner got third place behind Lorenzo and Pedrosa. Now the Australian rider is still second in the provisional world standing with147 points.

A good performance also for Roberto Locatelli who was very careful in the first part of the race because of the downpour but the Italian rider push hard finishing in ninth position. Now Roberto is 14th in world standing with 31 points.

Casey Stoner third - “I am quite happy about today. The team worked very hard for the whole week end and we made a lot of improvements and solved some problems that we had in the past two races. We thought we had a good race set up and good enough to maybe win but unfortunately things did not go according to plan the bike was not absolutely perfect in the race in the engine. So we had a few problems passing some other riders but apart from this I think we did a really good effort and gained some pints on third position”.

Roberto Locatelli ninth - “Yesterday after the practices I was expecting to finish in the first 8 positions….today I am ninth and it’s very good anyway! In the beginning with the downpour I did not want to risk and I had to be careful for three or four laps. Then I got a good pace and more feeling with the bike so I decided to pass some riders but Porto and De Puniet already had a very wide gap. Basically this race was positive: this must be the starting point for ending the season in the best way!”
