The temperature is higher today at Sepang circuit for the second day of practices. Although the stifling heat Casey Stoner set the fastest fourth lap time today in second qualifying session. The Australian rider obtained the front row even if he slip out in last lap of the practice. Good improvement for Locatelli as well who get the 14th position with a time of 2’10”212.

Casey Stoner fourth 2’08”286 - “I am quite happy with today and all the week end because the team made the right decisions and we have been faster and faster through al the sessions. I am feeling quite confident and comfortable for the race. I had a little of slip off in this afternoon session which was my fault and I know the problem. But I do not think we are worried about this for the race. We have just to try to make the best set up we can in the morning warm up and I think we can make a good race."

Roberto Locatelli 14th 2’10”212 - “Unfortunately in the last lap I saw the yellow flags everywhere and I was not able to push more on soft tyres. Then, in the last minutes of the session, I did not understand the time remaining and I lost the final chance to improve my lap time. Anyway I feel confident for the race tomorrow because we made some good changes and I want finish this GP in the first 10 positions”.
