Positive second day of practices for CARRERA SUNGLASSES – LCR team riders: Casey Stoner improved his yesterdays lap time obtaining the 3rd position on the grid behind De Angelis and Lorenzo whilst Roberto Locatelli set a time of 2’04”485 and he will start in 12th position in third row.

Casey Stoner third 2’02”473 - “I am not very happy about this afternoons session. We have a good setting for the race but when it came time to do one quick qualifying lap we made a few mistakes and the bike was not perfect. Overall I think we are quite well set for the race again tomorrow: the race setting is quite similar to what we had in Malaysia. We are not in pole position but we are consistently fast. Hopefully tomorrow in the morning warm up we can find exactly what the track is like and gain a little bit more information for the race. Our aim for the race is to get on the podium and finish in front of Dani”.

Roberto Locatelli 12th 2’04”485 - “We took a step forward today and all the solutions we prepared with the team worked good. The fastest riders used the qualifying tyre but I preferred to use the race one to be at 100% for tomorrow. That’s why I feel very satisfied and I am confident for the race even if it will be very hard because of this high temperature”.
