In this morning warm up session the CARRERA SUNGLASSES –LCR Team Australian rider Casey Stoner worked hard to improve his race setting even if the injury of yesterday's crash influenced his performance. Casey got the third position and he was the first Aprilia rider on the podium finishing his brilliant season with another positive result (2nd in the world championship with 254 points). Roberto Locatelli who started from the fourth row today, was 10th (13th in the championship with 61 points).

Casey Stoner 3rd - “Overall I am happy. Going into the race I only expected a top 5 result because of my injury from the crash yesterday. For the race after the third or fourth lap my rear tyre was sliding a lot and this combined with my injury I am very happy to have finished third. I want to thank my Team for working so hard all year to give me the best like possible and for putting up with me and my moods. This year has been my best year for the racing and my results and I want to say a BIG thank you to all of the team who have worked so hard for me”.

Roberto Locatelli 10th - “Unfortunately I starter from the fourth row and it was not so easy to catch the firsts. Today our pace was quite better than yesterday thanks to a new tyre that we were not able to test on Friday and Saturday. I expected a top 8 result but I lost to much time starting from the 16th position. I did the best for the whole season and the Team made a very good job to support me even if we expected a better final position in the championship”.
