Cold and rain in Le Mans for the second day of practices even if the weather situation improved am bit compared with yesterday when the 250 riders did not lap because of a terrible downpour during the qualifying session. In this morning free session the track conditions were pretty better and both CARRERA SUNGLASSES – LCR riders got on their Aprilia RSW 250. Casey was fifth fastest this morning but in the afternoon the track was completely dry and the Australian rider got the second lap time behind Pedrosa whilst his team mate Roberto Locatelli is working hard to get the right direction.

Casey Stoner 2° (1’37”880) - “These two days have been very strange cause the weather conditions changed in each session so it was not easy to get the right bike setting. This afternoon we had a few problems but the team made a good job to improve the situation. My bike started to go faster and faster and in the end of the session I was very competitive. Being fast in the dry is always a good sensation because all the riders can push harder in those conditions. I feel confident for the race both in the wet and in the dry”.

Roberto Locatelli 16° (1’39”737) - “The gap with the firsts is wide but today I feel more satisfied than the past. From this race we have started to work in the fork to adjust it to my riding style. Even if the lap time is still very slow I already had some improvements. During the warm up session tomorrow we will have to put together the best of both bikes and try to do a good start. This year the 250 class is very competitive that’s why I still have some difficulties in finding the right pace”.
