1m32s yet...
- 1610 - Less than ten minutes remaining now and Jamie
still looking nearly untouchable.. Holland still second with
that 1m32.77, Giles 3rd on 1m33.17, Fergusson 4th (1m33.3),
Allerton 5th (1m33.3), Dan Stauffer (1m33.9), Shannon

- 1601 - 17 minutes remaining in this session and still
nobody looking likely to get near Jamie... Let's hope the
other boys start getting serious soon...
- 1558 - Riders heading back out now
- 1557 - It seems though the red flag was out due to
somebody stopped on the circuit and nothing to worry about
- 1554 - Red flag has gone out to put a temporary halt to
the session
- 1550 - Jamie just lowered the mark further though....
1m32.43 for the Yamaha man...
The dominance we saw at Phillip Island earlier this year
could continue
- 1549 - Jamie, Russell, Adam, Glenn, Shannon and Shawn
already in the 1m33s bracket only a couple of minutes into
the session
- 1547 - Just had a quick word with Shannon Johnson before
he headed out for this second Superbike practice session.
He only did 3 laps on his 'A' bike this morning and then
spent the rest of the session lapping on the 'B' bike to run
it and check everything over should anything unforeseen
happen to his 'A' bike. His 'A' bike now has a fair
bit more power with the engine given a thorough work over
and he said that has changed the way it handles quite a lot
so this afternoon he will aim to get that all sorted.
He said they are not worried at all as they did flat 33s
here during a recent test. Shannon is riding the Kawasaki
Racing Team ZX-10R this year.
- 1542 - Pro Twin first qualifying has McMartin quickest
on 1m37.5 but it looks as though he might have some
competition now... Mick Kelly has put his 749R down into the
1m37s also. Then the next best is Roland Kruck on 1m40.0.
Mick Kelly might not race in Pro Twins though and just his
entry in that class as extra practice for his Supersport
entry
- 1533 - Superbikes are up next
- 1527 - More Results -
125 GP QP1
- 1525 - Pro Twins out for their first qualifier now and

second ahead of Brent Rigoli and Rhys Moller

behind
- 1423 - Some small areas of the track have been recently
resurfaced. Over the hill is much smoother according
to the riders but turn five has also had some work done and
the riders now have a small lip where the surface changes in
turn five, and of course it is right in the apex of the
turn...

practice session. Conditions are fine.

down that requires clean up
