Australian Pro Twins Race 2

  • 1132 - The two 749R mounted men clearly the class of the field, as they started the final lap they came upon a backmarker on an SP1 who they put a lap down but McMartin was baulked a little which could be what gives Kelly the advantage to the flag.....  McMartin closes though and takes the lead into the esses but couldn't get it turned quick enough and Kelly goes straight back through to take the win.  Finally the Pro Twins class brings some amusement. Paul Roe takes the final step on the podium some 13 seconds behind the leading duo while Ben Henry brought home fourth place
  • 1131 - McMartin and Kelly swapped positions a few times on the opening lap of the second Pro Twins race of the weekend but on the second lap McMartin managed to start sneaking away from Kelly. But Kelly then came back at him and at the halfway point of the race again challenged McMartin for the lead but couldn't manage to make a pass stick. But late on lap five Kelly out-braked McMartin at the Northern Hairpin, McMartin came back at him in the esses but Kelly retained the advantage to set up a great battle to be played out over the final two laps...
