Australian Pro Twins Race 3

  • 1525 - Kelly takes the win by 6.6 seconds over McMartin while Roe just got the better of Van Rooyen for the final step on the podium.  Childs 5th followed by Taborsky, Henry, Sutton, Collins, Smith and Bryan
  • 1523 - With two laps to run Kelly had a huge 3.5 second lead over McMartin. McMartin's comments about riding on old tyres being the reason that Kelly beat him yesterday obviously fired Kelly up for today. That and also of course being able to bring home the AAC 749R ahead of the Ducati Australia backed machine of McMartin.
  • 1519 - Mat Childs pushed Henry back to sixth place on lap three while Van Rooyen was starting to close on third placed Paul Roe.
  • 1516 - Mick Kelly got a good run off the line while McMartin's 749R reared up a little which cost him a litle time but it was still this pair that immediately started to clear out from the pack of larger capacity machines. Ben Henry also got a good start but was shuffled back to fifth place by Paul Roe and James Van Rooyen by the end of lap one. Kelly had 9-tenths of a second over McMartin at the end of lap one and by the end of lap two had built on that to extend his lead out to 1.2 seconds.
