Australian Naked & Forgotten Era Race 2

  • 0950 - Provisional Results on Combined Times, and I stress provisional - Rattenbury, Fripp, Phillis, Corpe, Wolfenden, Collins, Middleton, Mills, Cook, Wootton
  • 0948 - The two had an altercation on the entry to the esses on the final lap which ended with them touching and Cartwright falling softly but of course that gave Rattenbury an untroubled run to the line to take the victory
  • 0946 - Rattenbury pulled a couple of bike lengths over Cartwright on the penultimate lap at the Northern Hairpin, then as they got the last lap board the gap less than 4-tenths of a second...
  • 0945 - Van Rooyen then had what looked to be some sort of mechanical drama which left Rattenbury and Cartwright to fight over the race lead
  • 0943 - Two riders ran too deep into turn one and thus had to go through pitlane before they could rejoin the track.  Meanwhile up front it was Rattenbury from Van Rooyen and Cartwright
  • 0936 - Mick Neason was the faller and has been taking off to the medical centre to be checked out, we are getting set for a re-start
  • 0928 - Will be a two part race for another four laps. Cartwright had worked his way up to fifth behind Robbie Phillis before the red flag came out
  • 0927 - Van Rooyen got the lead with 4 and a half laps to go and then on the next lap the red flag came out after a rider fell at the Northern Hairpin
  • 0926 - Stuart Fripp holding down third from Robbie Phillis on his Forgotten Era Historic machine
  • 0925 - James Van Rooyen trying hard to not let Rattenbury get away and keeping the gap at less than a second for the first few laps. Cartwright had worked his way up to tenth by the time they started lap three
  • 0921 - Nakedbike Race 2 underway now and I think it was Jon Cartwright who had an absolute shocker of a start to be near the back of the field on lap one while Rattenbury led Van Rooyen
