125 GP Race 1

• 1351 - Last lap board and Hatton has a couple of tenths over Esler and Moller. Under brakes at the end of the back straight this time though it is Moller who takes the lead. Braking for the final double apex right hander Hatton takes the lead and holds Moller off to the line to take the win. Esler rounds out the podium followed by Rigoli, Galvin, Thompson, Simmonds, Gross, Campbell, Dunn, Metcher and Scott
• 1349 - Moller back in the lead now, Hatton tries to get him under brakes but doesn't quite pull it off and it costs him time, Esler right on his tail now, the trio nose to tail down the back straight. It looks as though Esler's machine lacks a little top speed. Hatton takes the lead with a move under brakes at the end of the back straight.
• 1348 - Hatton back in the lead now but it looks as though Moller has the faster machine. Esler still right there also but that trio have broken away from Simmonds, Rigoli and Galvin
• 1347 - Moller and Hatton fighting over the lead now. Moller just put in the fastest lap of the race with a 78.66, only a tenth off the lap record and quicker than his pole time
• 1342 - The 125s are off the line and it was Malcolm Esler that got the holeshot ahead of Peter Galvin and the pair traded places on the opening lap a couple of times. As they started lap two it was Galvin in the lead and the pair had Brett Simmonds, Tom Hatton and Rhys Moller right on their tails. Braking for the Hairpin at the end of the back straight saw virtually the whole field change positions and when they came out the other side it was Tom Hatton in the lead
