Nakedbike Race 2

• 0937 - Cartwright broke his lap record on the final lap of the race to lower the mark to a 72.596 even though he had already done the runner from Rattenbury.  Willis a clear third place as he gets more familiar with the BMW that he threw a leg over for the first time at a race meeting here this weekend. 
• 0936 - Cartwright down to 12s now and nearing the new lap record he set yesterday and has finally broken away from Rattenbury who has given up the chase. Willis will bring home a clear third place while Van Rooyen will battle for fourth with Stuart Fripp over this final lap
• 0934 - Cartwright and Rattenbury having an awesome battle, virtually side by side everywhere or cutting each other up all over the place, if they both make it to the flag it will be a miracle.  Willis has managed to escape from Van Rooyen who in turn is starting to be caught by Fripp. Willis now a clear third but running 3 seconds a lap slower than the FZ-1 mounted leaders who with three laps to run have 13 seconds on Willis.
• 0930 - Nakedbikes away and again it is Cartwright and Rattenbury immediately resuming the battle that kicked off yesterday, no love lost between this pair and no quarter given.  Third place early in the race is James Van Rooyen who is being chased by BMW mounted Mark Wills, the BMW has the speed but the Aprilia has the brakes.  Van Rooyen makes up 20 metres or so under brakes at nearly every corner in reply to the 20 metres Willis is able to pull away down the straights, corner speeds are not so different, but it is clear the Aprilia has a massive advantage under brakes and the BMW has a major top end horsepower advantage
