  • 1704 - Jamie's 1m33.756 is also a new domestic Superbike lap record... Holland did a 1m34.01 before his demise but nobody else was within a second of Jamie's best lap...That new lap record is a full second quicker than the previous best Aussie Production Superbike lap of the Island...
  • 1701 - Jamie the winner followed by brother Dan, Wayne Maxwell scored that hard fought final spot on the podium then it was Johnson, Staring, Charlton and Bugden although Bugden will get pushed down the order after his jump start penalty is applied so Allerton will probably score seventh
  • 1700 - Lapped traffic all over the place now....Tripping the riders up left, right and centre....
  • 1658 - I think Johnson might be watching Staring and Maxwell from a safer viewpoint behind... Waiting for the final lap to make his move perhaps....
  • 1656 - It appears that Holland lost the front exiting Honda Corner.... Not totally 100% on that but think that might have been the case....  Jamie enjoys a five second lead over Dan with a couple of laps to run.... Dan's second place is looking fairly safe at this stage as his pursuers trip each other up while they fight for position.... Maxwell, Staring, Johnson the order in that battle for third place... Two laps to run..
  • 1654 - Jamie did a 1m33.7 on lap four to pull half a second out of Holland but the gap remained identical the next time they came across the stripe.... Holland's down...  The Robern Racing man is down, walking away unhurt.  Not sure what the cause of that was, but the result is that Jamie is going to walk away wit hit and in all likelihood his brother will take second... Actually Dan is being caught by Maxwell, Staring and Johnson now...
  • 1653 - Bryan Staring is in a frantic battle over fourth place with Shannon Johnson and Wayne Maxwell his protagonists...  Maxwell made contact with Johnson which messed Johnson up a little and allowed Maxwell to take fourth and Staring to move up to fifth.... Five laps to run...
  • 1652 - Robbie Bugden is down in seventh but has a jump start penalty to push him further down the order when the final results are issued... Jamie maintaining his lead still,  Holland trying to get back on terms with him but I don't think it is going to happen unless Jamie makes a mistake or Holland picks up even more speed...
  • 1651 - Jamie smoked the R1 onto the main straight and was all over the back of Holland as they exited turn 12 to take the lead down the main straight even before they peeled into turn one..... Jamie maintains the lead through Southern and Honda....
  • 1650 - Holland pulled a couple of bike lengths out on Jamie through the first half of the lap.... A 1m40.62 from a standing start... Jamie coming back at him now though...
  • 1649 - Holland pulls him back in though and goes through to the lead.... Holland leads down the straight also and he hangs on to it into turn one...
  • 1648 - Allerton's front end came right up from the line which cost him dearly launching out of the blocks, Jamie away in the lead and builds good ground over Holland in turns one, two and three...
  • 1647 - Superbikes on the grid....
