125 Race |

Kallio led the field around the first lap with Espargaro and Faubel but it only took a few laps for pole sitter and newly crowned World Champion Alvaro Bautista to take his place at the front of the pack. As the race progressed Bautista and Faubel broke away from Gadea, Kallio and Pesek while that trio engaged in an exciting battle for third. Hector Faubel went on to take the win ahead of Kallio and Gadea after Bautista faded to fourth in the latter stages of the race with a lack of power in the upper gears robbing him of his chance at the win. Faubel's win promoted him to third place in the final series standings ahead of Pasini. Kallio's second place rounded out a great second half of the season for the Fin with eight podiums from the final nine races of the series to complete his sign off from the 125 ranks before stepping up to the 250cc class in 2007 along with championship winner Bautista.
