Despite the weather forecast the racing day at Valencia has been sunny and dry. Hasn’t been a brilliant day for Scuderia SC Caracchi riders, only Josh Brookes has been able to score points for the championship.

Thank a brilliant race Joshua Brookes recorded the eleventh position in Supersport, after a fantastic start that see him in ninth position at the first split after the start. during about ten laps Josh has been able to ride at leader’s group pace, racing in 1’39”, then the lap time became slower and Josh has lost some position.

“I started like a rocket just the light went off.” – related at the end of the race Josh Brookes – “At the end of the first lap I was in ninth position and, for several laps, about ten, I’ve been able to stay close to the leading group. The bike was running well, also if my feeling wasn’t perfect. Then, when the tyres worsened, I found always more difficult to manage the corners. During some lap I’ve been able to keep my position, the at the end of the race I’ve been forced to let that someone overtook me and I lost some position. However, also if this result isn’t exceptional, after the practice troubles I’m quite satisfied.”

Luka Nedog too is satisfied for finishing his first world championship race. Luka took a great attention to avoid mistakes, made agood start early earning some position that then keep until the end. “During the morning’s warm up I improved my performance, recording the 24th fastest with the track half wet.” – said at the end of the race Luka Nedog – “Then for the race I got a good start and I earned some position, but starting from the end of the grid isn’t easy to find the way. My main goal today was to avoid to crash and at the end I have pain in my shoulder, most when braking.”

Difficult day in Superbike for Roberto Rolfo: after a bad start in race-1 he joined the pit after ten laps, then in race race-2 the 999F05 SC Ducati’s rider got a good start, but in the first corner he’s been closed and he spent several laps to get positions and, when he’s arrived near the group fighting for the points it was too late to get something positive.

“That’s been a week end up and down and I’m not happy.” – commented at the end Roberto Rolfo. – “we had a lot of troubles to find a good set up, the bike was changing a lot with the temperature and so we switched from moment when it was quite good to other when it was difficult to manage. In race-1 I had a bad start, the bike made a couple of wheelies at the start and then, about half a race distance, I joined the pit because I had some technical problem. During race-2 I had a perfect start, but at first corner, where I rode in the internal line, they close my way. Late I overtook Neukirchner, but the group fighting for the points was far and we rode at the same pace, so I’ve been not able to keep them. That’s however an experience that could learn us something and that could spur us for next round at Monza.”
