Polaris and Husqvarna enter into brand partnership
Two of Australia’s leading outdoor machinery brands have joined forces to promote three Aussie icons – the Polaris X2, the Polaris Ranger utility vehicle and the Husqvarna 455 Rancher chainsaw.
For a limited time only, customers will receive a free Husqvarna 455 Rancher with the purchase of any Polaris X2 or Polaris Ranger utility vehicle (excluding Ranger RZR).
But more pertinently, this promotion signals the beginning of a brand partnership between two companies with a rich history in the agricultural markets of both Australasia and abroad.
“It is a great brand alignment for both companies,” said Peter Alexander, Managing Director for Polaris in Australia and New Zealand.
“The markets and philosophies of both companies are so similar, and the products are complementary in many ways.
“I’m confident this will be the first step in a long and mutually-beneficial relationship between these two companies.”
For more than 50 years, Polaris have been making machines that not only take you out there, they offer you a way out. A break from the routine. An escape from the ordinary. A moment of freedom. Over the years, both farmers and enthusiasts have come to appreciate that nothing rides like a Polaris.
Snowmobiles came first in 1954 and quickly established a track record for advanced engineering. All-Terrain Vehicles followed in 1985, and since their introduction have set the standard for performance and innovation. Then in 1997, the Polaris RANGER was born, creating a whole new class of smooth-riding off-road utility vehicles. Over the past 23 years, Polaris has manufactured over 2.5 million ATVs and Ranger utility vehicles, and is a recognised leader in ATV technology and innovation.
In 1998, Polaris established Victory Motorcycles, which has since become a popular brand in the motorcycle markets of North America and Europe. Victory Motorcycles boasts a full selection of full-sized cruiser and touring bikes that are further enhancing Polaris’ reputation for innovation by setting new benchmarks for performance, quality, comfort and modern styling. Polaris last week announced that Victory Motorcycles will be introduced into the Australian market later this year.
“Husqvarna and Polaris are a great match,” said Jason Bezzina, Marketing Communications Manager for Husqvarna Australia. “The products are complimentary, and both brands have a strong commitment to providing the best possible products and service to farmers around the country.”
“There’s also a lot of synergies between the two companies, not least of which that they both have a long history of innovation and are regarded as manufacturers of industry leading products in their respective fields.”
